President George Washington declared, “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible!”
Our 7th President, Andrew Jackson said, of the Word of God, “it is the rock on which our Republic rests.”
President Lincoln stated: “In regard for the Great Book, I have this to say, “it is the best gift God has given to man.”
President Truman declared that “The fundamental basis of this nations laws, was given to Moses on the Mount!”
President Roosevelt had Bibles sent to our troops overseas.
These past Presidents knew and realized that God was and is, our strong foundation. Back then, nobody objected to the mentioning of God’s name. It was a natural thing to say his name with reverence.
In July of 2010, our President was to give a speech at Georgetown Catholic University, Behind him would be a cross. The Whitehouse demanded that before the speech, the cross be covered. So it was. My immediate response was, “he doesn’t believe in the cross; he doesn’t believe in our God!”
Other Presidents gave their speeches there and did not ask for the Pediment to be covered. They respected and paid reverence to the belief in our one true God!
Today, we as Americans, have allowed our (over-stayed) guests to slowly demand that our true God be eliminated from this nation. One atheist succeeded in having prayer removed from our schools. Now, Christ is taken from Christmas, no more Nativity scenes in public, no prayer at graduation, nor military funerals.
How could this have happened to this “God-Blessed America?” This nation has been Blessed way beyond any other!
The pilgrims left England to come to this “Land of the Free” to worship the Lord. They gave “Thanks.”
Years ago, we sang the song, “America” in school. In it, was the verse, “God shed his Grace on thee” and crowned thy goods, with brotherhood, from sea to shining sea.”
He “shed his Grace.” Think about it. If we, as a nation, continue to push our (one God) out of our America, his “Grace” will no doubt, be lifted.
Our freedoms are slowly, but surely, being taken away.
Our President said, not very long ago, “I don’t need Congress.” In so few words all he needed is a pen and paper and his Signature.
So, before our foundation crumbles, bring back prayer in schools, back in graduations, and put Christ back in Christmas! Acknowledge his very and true existence!
American will once again “Stand Tall” And God’s Grace” will be sufficient!
All it takes is our President’s Signature. Right?
