THE OHIO State University and the Buckeye football nation should be ecstatic Terrelle Pryor is leaving Columbus. The pampered star QB is a major player in the troubles emanating from the Buckeyes' football program. Plus, having to sit the first five games this coming year train wrecks both team chemistry and preparation. Pryor needed to go. We are happy he made that decision to do just that. It also makes Luke Fickell's job easier in the interim. Pryor's presence on the football team would be a camaraderie killer. Many teammates blame him for the hemorrhaging of bad news flowing from the OSU program. The Jeannette, Pa. prodigy has outlived his collegiate football usefulness. Pryor's exodus opens the door for another frosh dandy to take the reigns under center. Braxton Miller enters Columbus with a reputation as one of the best prep quarterbacks in the nation, as was Pryor. I am certain that Miller will be a much better off-the-field Buckeye than Pryor. Would not be hard to. Jim Tressel is now gone as is Pryor. The housecleaning should not stop. I believe that OSU Athletic Director Gene Smith should be the next Scarlet & Gray domino to fall. He should not be the last.
