A Trip Down Memory Lane

On our way back from our last lunch outing, the Taste Buds reminisced about the days when we were little Buds. As the highway stretched past the mall in St. Clairsville, the Buds enthusiastically recalled some of our favorite hangouts back in the day. Remember Mr. Bulky's? It was a child's dream—wall to wall candy and tons of empty bags to fill! Mmm...we can still taste the sour patch kids. Or how about the Popcorn Patch? The Buds fondly recall a variety of unconventional popcorn flavors—specifically the blue popcorn (blueberry flavored, of course). We also did not forget about Der Dog House, but how could you forget that huge yellow sign? What about the World Bazaare? Chess King? Zides? The list is endless! The Buds really miss those days. We both agreed that it would be great to go back and be little Buds all over again, just for a day. No responsibilities, no bills, no dependents...just enjoying everything life has to offer. Thinking about those times makes us laugh and smile, and we figure we must've both had it pretty good. Unfortunately, the Buds had to return to reality, but we definitely enjoyed the detour we took down memory lane!
