County Fairs

The county fair scene is upon us. Harrison County kicks off the Eastern Ohio series of fairs as action commences this week. It will be followed by the Monroe County Fair, Jefferson County's event while Belmont County will stage its extravaganza in September.

County fairs offer area residents good old-fashioned fun. A wide-variety of activities are available to fair-goers, ranging from rides and musical entertainment to food and animals. Moreover, with the continued gas pricing crisis, county fairs are entertainment of the wholesome variety at a reasonable price.
