Ohio Rolls

July 31, 2008 - Seth Staskey
Another Rudy Mumley Charity All-Star Football Classic has come and gone and once again Ohio rolled to a tune of 31-7. The game wasn't that close. Ohio's defense was dominant, holding West Virginia to some negative 60 yards rushing.

Buckeye Local's Isaac Omaits showed that he belonged in the game, recording no fewer than five sacks and 8 tackles for loss. Quite a game for this future Hilltopper. The entire defensive unit came through in a big way for Coach Randy Thompson's Buckeyes.

Hard to believe that doubles begin this week in the Buckeye State.

The Times Leader Sports Staff also springs into action in working on its pre-season football preview edition. The magazine will be published on Aug. 19 just before the season opens on Aug. 21. Just three weeks from today is game time. Stick with the T-L all season for in depth football coverage from preps to the Buckeyes to the NFL.
