| | OSU-Troy -- Part 3September 20, 2008 - Seth StaskeyThe Buckeyes and Troy are headed to the fourth quarter and OSU owns a slim 14-10 lead. Ohio State is just not playing well again. Their offense lacks consistency and it can be a combination of things. 1. The line is not blocking very well for either the run or pass. 2. They really do miss Beanie Wells more and more each week. 3. They aren't as good as fans all over the Buckeye Nation thought. Personally, I think it's the middle choice. This team's ability to do anything is predicated on being able to run the football and without their Beanie, that's a fierce challenge. As for the game, Troy just punted to begin the fourth quarter in a14-10 game. Brian Hartline's return gave the Buckeyes a 1st-and-10 on the Troy 37.
