| | Buckeye NorthOctober 28, 2008 - Robert "Bubba" KapralWe applaud Buckeye North parents and students who attended Monday night's board of education meeting in Brilliant. Buckeye Local Superintendent Mark Miller has held board of education meetings at various sites throughout the district. We believe that is a nice move to keep communication flowing between administration and families. The Buckeye North contingent made it quite clear what it wants: To keep its children going to school at Buckeye North Middle. They want no a part of traveling down Ohio 7 to Tiltonsville. So much so, they don't mind paying more. That speaks volumes on what a school means to a respective community. Take the school out a town and consequently that community loses its identity. Consolidations are a great way to save money and also a great way to fragment a school district.
