Deer Hunters Welcome

It is not unusual to see a sign welcoming deer hunters in front of local businesses. The restaurants, convenience stores and sporting goods establishments are usually counting on the revenue from the December influx of the sportsmen and their money.

In Cadiz there is one such sign that is disturbing, the Liquor Store sign says Welcome Deer Hunters. Perhaps a bit too honest. While no one denies that alcohol is the fluid that lubricates the world of mankind, this may be one case where discretion should be exercised.
