OVAC Wrestling -- Day 2

We're back in our seats at the head table for the start of the second session of the Ron Mauck OVAC Wrestling Tournament. We're about 15 minutes from the second-round championship and first two consolation rounds getting under way.

Organized team warmups are concluding and fans are starting to filter into the arena. According to tournament personnel, Thursday night's attendance was up from previous years, but also according to the same personnel, the number of wrestlers is down slightly.

The matches for the higher seeds should get a little tougher in this round, but we don't forsee any major upsets of the top two seeds. That could happen Friday evening when the quarterfinals commence. However, stay right here for updates throughout the round.
