Parking tickets

I commend Bridgeport village officials for their crackdown on overdue parking tickets. If all of the violators of unpaid tickets would ante up, the village would recoup nearly $20,000. That is a large sum of money which could help ease many a financial problem for the village. Fair is fair; if you get busted for illegal parking, have enough decency to pay your fine. We do not know how much money Police Chief Chad Dojack will be able to recover, but we agree with his efforts .
