I find it hard to fathom how any legislator in the tri-state area can support "cap and trade' legislation. Zac Space, however, did just that, voting in favor of the energy bill which will put the squeeze on coal-fired power plants. With the coal industry being such a major part of the Ohio economy, Space sold out Ohio Valley constituents. Space should have seen the light and followed the lead of fellow Ohio lawmaker Charlie Wilson and break ranks with the Democrats for the good of those who put him in office. The bill passed by the slimmest of margins -- 219-212. Four votes going the other way in opposition to the bill would have made the difference. Space should have been one of those four. Space's vote is one we should not soon forget.
