More College Football
December 4, 2007 - Seth Staskey
Every time I turned on the television or national radio Monday all I heard was how Ohio State doesn't belong in the BCS Title Game. I just can't seem to figure out why people feel this way. I understand the Buckeyes' schedule wasn't the strongest and yes, they did beat Youngstown State. However, the fact of the matter is they play in the Big 10 (You know one of the true power conferences in the nation), and they finished their season with just one loss. Only Hawaii can claim less losses and only Kansas can claim equal losses. It just so happened that the Buckeyes and the Big 10 season ends in November. That's not Ohio State's fault or any Big 10 team for that matter. I think it comes down to the fact that there are a lot of haters in the national media. I respect those guys' opinions, but it's always Ohio State that's got to be the one to prove something.
