| | Day 2 ContinuesJanuary 18, 2008 - Seth StaskeyMore and more seeds are falling as we progress toward the quarterfinal round this evening. However, as I am typing this there have been nary a one or two seed that's went down thus far. Meaning, the coaches still know what they were doing last week. The quest to become an OVAC Champion is tough and it's never been evidenced more by the amount of stoppages in the action for "blood time." At one point during the session, there were three mats stopped at a time as coaches and officials worked to clean up the blood. Like the cliche says, if you want to achieve greatness, it's going to take some "blood, sweat and tears" and the OVAC Mat Tournament offers all of that.
