September 8, 2009 - Kim Collette
Tomorrow is THE day.  Beatlemania will be back!  (And I for one couldn't be more excited!)  Hitting stores tomorrow is The Beatles: Rock Band  and reissues of all their albums.

The Beatles: Rock Band
actually lets you live out the  dream of being  a member of  The Beatles.  You get to jam along with 45 tracks that span The Beatles career.  Players start The Beatles story just like the band did....playing in The Cavern Club in 1963, before moving on to  more notable performances like The Ed Sullivan Show, the Shea Stadium concert or the rooftop at Apple Studios.  For the most part, Rock Band stays its traditional self.  This version just has The Beatles flair! According to the reviews I have read, players can drive crowds into a frenzy causing "Beatlemania" or  play a "Fab Solo" or a "Triple Fab" harmony during the songs.  The Beatles: Rock Band definitely chronicles their storied career.  As players advance in the game, they unlock photos, videos and audio recordings that go even deeper into The Beatles history.  I personally  can't wait to pick up a guitar and become a Beatle...jamming to "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!"

Not only are us "Beatlemaniacs" getting Rock Band, but also reissues of all The Beatles albums are being released tomorrow too!  Seriously....better quality Beatles albums!  Again...I can hardly wait!

With all this talk about The Beatles, I started singing and humming their songs!  So...I thought I'd "brave the waters" once again and give you guys my favorite Beatles songs!

*All My Loving
*I Want to Hold Your Hand
*Paperback Writer
*Penny Lane (which happens to be my dad's favorite)
*Day Tripper
*Nowhere Man
*I Saw Her Standing There
*Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
*Come Together
*Eleanor Rigby
*Hey Jude
*The Long and Winding Road
*Strawberry Fields Forever all-time favorites are.....Yesterday and Let it Be.

I can't believe I get to experience a mini-Beatlemania! Maybe, just maybe, September 2009 will make The Beatles the band of this century too!

Until next time friends!
