Fall TV!

September 16, 2009 - Kim Collette
My wait is finally over!  Fall t.v. season is here at last!  All of my familiar friends will once again be welcomed into my home.  I'm sure there will be some surprises, some new faces, some cliffhangers solved, and probably some marriages and babies along the way.  And....I can't wait to find out what's in store!  Here are the shows that my dvr is already set to record.....

GREY'S ANATOMY-
Bring on the McDreamy!  From what I've seen about this upcoming season Patrick Dempsey's character will get a little more attention with Ellen Pompeo taking a maternity leave.....YES!  What else is going on at Seattle Grace Hospital?  We all know T.R. Knight is leaving his George O'Malley role.  And, we all know that Katherine Heigel is staying on as Izzie.  Since we already know then that George won't survive his accident and Izzie will survive her "fatal" disease....I'm curious about how they will actually tell the story.  Here is a link to the first 5 minutes of the show.  (http://www.bscreview.com/2009/09/watch-first-5-minutes-of-greys-anatomy-season-6/)  PREMIERES SEPT.24

CRIMINAL MINDS-Is Hotch alive?  Did the Reaper finally get his revenge?  The season premiere definitely will answer these questions.  Another thing I am excited about is a storyline that involves the help of a U.S. Marshall.  From what I  have read, it will be a six episode story arc and the Marshall will be played by D.B. Sweeney!  (I sorta had a crush on him ever since he played Doug in The Cutting Edge..."Toe Pick".)  PREMIERES SEPT.23

THE MENTALIST- Simon Baker plays Patrick Jane to perfection.  He is back again to seek revenge on Red John.  There are no plotlines or guest stars that I am looking forward to.  The reason?  This show is just plain, old good.  The cases aren't that far fetched and the way the are told keeps you interested.  Plus it doesn't hurt that Simon Baker is a hottie right?  PREMIERES SEPT.24

HOUSE- The last we saw, Dr.Gregory House had checked himself into the loony bin.  How is Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital dealing without him?  Hopefully the writers will not only chronicle House's stay, but how his staff is doing without his off-beat medical guidance.  And...I hear that James Earl Jones will be a guest star at some point this season.  PREMIERES SEPT.21

BONES-Booth is recovering from brain surgery.  Brennan I'm sure will be there to help.  Will these two's relationship EVER evolve into a full-fledged romance?  If the writers pair them up.....I hope Bones doesn't end up like all the other shows that pair up the 2 main characters....Dead.  And....hopefully they don't make the mistake of doing another "hallucination" episode.  PREMIERES SEPT.17

Now, I'll be honest with you....there are other shows that I am looking forward to:
Dancing With the Stars,The Amazing Race,Survivor,Heroes(well I'm not really looking forward to this...but I know I'll be watching it because of the BF), and Private Practice.  A couple of new shows that I might check out are The Good Wife and Modern Family.  Boy....my dvr is going to being working overtime!  I am already into seasons of Project Runway, America's Next Top Model, So You Think You Can Dance and LA Ink.

Pheewwww....My dvr is ready!  Is yours?

Until next time friends!
