| | Soft BrowniesOctober 19, 2009 - Robert "Bubba" KapralThe Cleveland Browns are not my team, so it is not hard to beat them up. Eric Mangenius just doesn't get it. No wonder the Jets booted him from the Big Apple. Brady Quinn is the face of the Browns' franchise. He is a first-round draft choice -- with loads of talent and marketability -- just rotting away on the bench. Mangenius has opted to go with Derek Anderson, who has flunked previous tests as the Browns' starting QB. Anderson was 9-of-24 Sunday against the Steelers, a week after going 2-of-17 against the Bills. Mangenius, like Anderson, should be jettisoned from Cleveland. The Browns' hierarchy must realize their future lies in Quinn's hands. He cannot sharpen his skills sitting on the bench. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
