| | Dome ExodusDecember 7, 2009 - Robert "Bubba" Kapral Charlie Weis' firing at Notre Dame has triggered an exodus of some of its offensive stars. Quarterback Jimmy Clausen early Monday annnounced his intention to enter the NFL Draft with one year of college eligibility remaining. Shortly thereafter, Irish star wideout Golden Tate said he would do the same. Clausen and Tate made wise choices. Their respective stocks cannot go any higher. Likely, it would have dropped if they opted to return next year. Regardless of his head coaching record, Weis can coach offense with the best. Clausen and Tate will both be first-round NFL choices, while Notre Dame must re-tool without three offensive heavyweights. Article CommentsNo comments posted for this article. Post a Comment | |
