| | On any given ThursdayDecember 11, 2009 - Michael PalmerThe defending NFL champion Pittsburgh Steelers lost their fifth straight game and had their playoff hopes sacked by the Cleveland Browns defense. The win came in perfect Cleveland football weather as the Brownies laid a 13-6 loss on their cross border rivals Thursday night in subzero wind chills. It ended a 12-game losing record against the Terrible Towel waving Steelers and a nine year drought of home losses to the black and gold also came to an end. The Browns were coached back in those days by Chris Palmer. That’s not why I am a Browns fan. I am a Browns fan because of where I was born, unlike some other band wagon jumpers who look across rivers and state lines for their sports teams. It’s a tough job, sort of like being a Pirates fan for Pittsburgh area baseball lovers. I am not going think about the next game or the season record, I am just going to enjoy this moment.
