Day 2 Wrestling Under Way

Action at the 57th annual Ron Mauck OVAC Wrestling Tournament has resumed with action on eight mats. Championship second round matches are under way and consolation brackets will get under this afternoon.

Bad news made its way around WesBanco Arena this morning when it was announced that Beaver Local's Dan Lattanzio withdrew from the tournament when he got word that his 48-year old father had passed away during the night. The tournament paid tribute to him with a moment of silence in his hour as well in the honor Martins Ferry junior high coach Bubba Coleman who passed away last weekend.
