Out of Bounds

Ben Roethlisberger lives his off-field life like he plays football - recklessly. The Steelers' quarterbacking star is in hot water again for another alleged incident with a female.  Jurisprudence wlll tell us whether he is guilty or innocent. Even if the latter is the case, scars will remain. Ben is one of the faces of the  franchise, a franchise steeped in class. The Rooney family does things in first-class fashion. Ben's antics in the offeseason, be it with women or mangling his body in a motorycle  crash, will only be tolerated so long. Winning Super Bowls builds up only so much revenue. Sooner or later if Ben wants to remain with the Steelers, he needs to clean up his off-the-field behavior.
