OVAC Game Day

Well, it's almost 9 a.m. and the gates are about to open at the Health and Physical Education Center at Ohio University-Eastern in preparation for the inaugural Wheeling Hospital OVAC Basketball Championship. The first game is St. John Central and Beallsville at 10 a.m.

It's hard to believe that this day has finally arrived seeing it's been in the works for the better part of two years. No matter how long it took, the day where the OVAC crowns basketball champions on the floor has arrived, and that's the most important part no matter how you slice it.

Stay tuned throughout the day for blogs and results of the four championship games. We'll be stationed at centercourt for the duration as the official scorekeeper in case you are headed out to St. Clairsville.
