Time for Thomas

May 17, 2010 - Robert "Bubba" Kapral

Allan Sayre will soon be relinquishing Ohio's 96th House seat.  He is taking an auditing position in Tuscarawas County. Sayre's departure creates a political void which Mark Thomas would fill very seamlessly. The former Belmont County commissioner is well-groomed for Sayre's seat. He was a proven leader for the county. Thomas was passionate in championing the cause for a better Belmont County. He has the knowledge for the House post, and just as importantly, he has the character to stick to his guns and battle for his constituents. He is well-connected throughout the 96th District and in Columbus. Thomas has voiced his interest in the position. I believe the Democratic Party would be wise to listen to his message.
