Indian Creek kind of took the basketball community by storm this season when it posted a mark of 13-5 and then it took out Brooke in the semifinals of the Wheeling Hospital OVAC Basketball Championship last Monday. However, the Redskins reached the pinnacle Saturday night when they claimed the OVAC 4-A title with a win over John Marshall.

The Lady Redskins meshed 19-of-30 from the foul line to preserve the win, including 19-of-26 in the fourth quarter.

The Sisters Davis -- Miki and Gabi -- came up big for the Creek as did stellar guard Ty Harris.
