Patriotic Bellaire

I have lived in Bellaire my entire life. I want to live no place else. The All-American Town is well known for its toughness. Well, I viewed the town's softer and more compassionate side Monday, as a large turnout rolled out to city park to take part in the annual Memorial Day program. Patriotic music, a host of speakers and various military personnel all combined to make the event a stirring way to pay tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Monday reinforced the feeling that it is great to be an American, and also to be a Bellaire native.
