| | Shadyside wins Class 2-AFebruary 9, 2008 - Seth StaskeyThe Shadyside Tigers showed grit and resiliency during Saturday's Class 2-A OVAC Championship game, posting a 69-64 victory over Linsly. The win is the Tigers 11th in a row as they enter Ohio tournament play with a 18-2 record. Shadyside appeared to be dead in the water, but senior Billy Merryman drilled a pair of treys in the second overtime and then in the third overtime, seior Jared Andes came through. He had two treys and was a perfect four-of-four from the line en route to 25 points. Merryman finished with five treys and 15 points. C.J.
