Ohio State Pre-Game

September 18, 2010 - Seth Staskey

COLUMBUS -- I'm in my seat in the Ohio State Press Box. Got to Columbus early enough to once again soak up some of the atmosphere before coming up to my seat to begin covering the Ohio Bobcats' visit.

I ran into several locals outside, including school officials from Bridgeport, St. Clairsville and River just to name a few. Also saw folks from St. John, Martins Ferry and Meadowbrook. Ohio State Football is one thing that brings most rivals into one area for some fun and good times.

The Ohio University Marching 110 is on the field with the beginning of pre-game activities.

Coming to an Ohio State game is an exciting time for anyone regardless of age. However, I am not sure the most loyal Bobcats' fan or alumnus could imagine having a chance to win this game, which unfolds shortly.

However, in sports, stranger things have happened.

Stay tuned.
