Going green!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all our Irish and non-Irish friends.

Could there possibly be a better way to start out this holiday then enjoying green eggs and ham? The Buds think not!

We are talking about actual green eggs and ham, not the popular book by Dr. Seuss that has held every child born since 1960 spellbound as his or her parents read about Sam-I-Am and an unnamed character who does not want to taste the ham and egg breakfast treat until the end of the book.

Eating green eggs isn't as difficult as it may sound. The offering consumed today was scrambled and the cook at Vicki's Place in Cadiz knows how to make them "just the right" color. In addition, the eggs were nice and fluffy and flavorful. Yummy! And, although it was not green, the slice of ham couldn't have been better.

The breakfast treat was the perfect way to start out St. Patrick's Day this year.

After consideration, green eggs and ham could just be the best way to start any day!
