Seth Staskey joined The Times Leader Sports Staff as a part-timer in 1998 and was named Sports Editor in June of 2006. Seth's a 1998 Shadyside High School graduate and a 2003 Ohio University graduate. He's active in the Ohio Valley sports community by serving on several committees within the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. He's also a registered fast-pitch softball umpire. During his years at The Times Leader, Seth has covered OHSAA State Championships in Football, Boys and Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Track and Cross Country. He's also covered numerous professional sporting events and also the 2007 BCS National Championship Game in Arizona. He's obviously a huge sports fan. His favorite teams are: Ohio State, Cubs, Titans, Cavaliers.
