Making ends meet on a fixed income
I OFTEN hear from those who are lucky enough to make it to the “golden years” that the moniker is not only inaccurate but down right laughable.
Many people reach the retirement age gracefully with plenty of money, energy and great health. However, many do not and those are the ones who I plan to target and maybe together we can find a way to live a healthier, better life on what we have available to us.
All suggestions, questions and ideas for this column will be greatly appreciated, and I know one of the problems with the elderly is their inability for whatever reason to use the Internet.
For this reason, I will give my email address, but phone calls and letters are always encouraged. Let’s do this together and live better lives no matter what situation we find ourselves in.
This month I want to showcase some tips for those, whether elderly or disabled, to utilize.
