Bellaire police stage underage drinking probe

What are the outvoted discrimination victims supposed to do, build a time machine so they can obey a law against being under 21? Clone themselves so on election day they can outnumber the bigots who hate them?

Each person is a separate individual and a distinct transaction. That applies to DWI statistics, and to the consent of the governed.

DWI statistics are no excuse for imposing the drinking age on a person who did not commit those crimes. Strong public support is no excuse for imposing it on persons who oppose it.

Most of the support comes from hypocrites who prefer to impose second-class citizenship on somebody else rather than impose tougher DWI measures on themselves.

The drinking age is okay to some persons under 21, but totally unacceptable to others. The government has no right to impose it on them.
