Shadyside, River only girls teams left standing

Mr. North: Based on your comment that it's "ridiculous and outright stupid" that the New Philadelphia gymnasium will be cleared between games tells me that you've probably never been one of the fans from a team in the second game that's been forced to sit in the "cheap seats" at one of these multi-game events because the fans for game one are too inconsiderate to vacate their court side seats in order to allow the fans for the second game to sit in them. If that's not reason enough to clear the gym between games, this particular venue has been known to sell out during previous (boys) district games. Since we don't all have the benefit of media passes and seats, clearing the gym actually makes a lot of sense to us fans.
