The Tea Party is a small, radical minority intent on dismantling the government of the United States. As long as they are allowed to dictate the terms of public debate they will continue to hold the rest of us hostage to their extremism. The Tea Party is on the verge of treason.

"Plenty of whites voted for Obama too." Promo61 You must be a racist, if you think that only non-whites would buy into this leftist propaganda. What do you value more, servitude or freedom? I realize freedom can be a challenge but it is far better than the alternative.

BushCrimeFamily: I would agree to end ALL tax loopholes, not just oil companies if you would agree to end all subsidies for all taxpayers. You do approve of fairness don't you?

It’s clear that Republicans would rather impose painful spending cuts that will hurt the economy and millions of Americans than end a single tax loophole for the wealthy and special interests like Big Oil and Wall Street.

Rick Scott badmouthed The Affordable Care Act as long as he could before he caved in last week. Typical Right Wing BS, everything is a Communist conspiracy led by the President. When Scott thought of all the poor people he was screwing, he realized he might need them in 2014.

Today's GOP is a dinosaur. It's quickly dying off, but trying desperately to hang on via tactics like purging minorities from voter rolls in swing states. Rick Scott in Florida did everything he could to deliver the state for Romney, but voters waited for hours and hours to cast ballots anyway. The GOP will continue to try to overcome the will of the people. We must not let them.

Let us see what the 14 mid term election brings. Mr. Obama and his style will wear many very thin and there will be a nice shift as in 10 . Sadly, Mr. Obama is NOT the President we need at this time. Christmas is over and it is time to pay the bills. Just not his style, inclination, or desire.

Since the Republicans fielded Mitt Romney, one of the weakest candidates in many years. And since the Latino, black, female and young voted mainly for the President, it's easy to see why Obama won.

There's just not enough older white men in this country for the Republicans to win a national election. This PhD should know that.

Appreciate your honesty, Doctor....but people like Starkey, Hord, Ellis, Morgan, etc.who often write this babble have NO interest in being factual about anything. They are Obanazis to whom truth and facts are the enemy. They still think Obama is a real "Democrat"....it doesnt get any more science fiction than that!
