On Feb. 28th the Senate proposed a bill to avoid the sequester. It included: Elimination for tax subsidies for big oil, closing loopholes for companies who ship jobs overseas and lowering itemized deductions for incomes over $4 million. Every single Republican voted against it.

The rating agencies again are threatening to lower the US debt ratings. wonder why? too much debt and no solid plan in place to control spending. this could increase costs to the government, make it more difficult to borrow, and impact us substantially. that is why we must address these issues NOW !!!!!!!!!! this is. Lt a political statement but a practical and obvious issue being brought forward by organizations who do not care about politics but the real world of debt, obligations, and risk!!!!! Wake up......

On March 1, Senate Republicans offered a plan which was rejects by the Democrats. Over the past 5 months House Republicans offered two plans and Senate Democrats thumbed theirs noses. Let us not hold up Democrats as great saviors.
