Dear?Editor There have been several letters here to promote the Bellaire School Levy. Even letters from children/students to bring out the guilt treatment....

I agree there should be a law against this ongoing harassment. This is nonsensical that we repetitively vote on a levy that we rejected 5 times previously. VOTE NO!

The Bellaire school levy will fail. 2 reasons..as you explained money is tight and every one has their hand out already. Others things you didn't mention. th EPA has pretty told Bellaire they need a new sewer system. Who is going to pay for that and reason two. 8.25 mill levy is a pretty rediculous amount to ask for. 3 to 4 may have stood a chance. The reasoning is they think after the rally, school shooting and other things..get out the vote that this is their best chance to get it through. Mind you the majority of registered voters do NOT own property and will pay NO tax increase even if they have children in the school system so the school board thinks they have a good chance at ramming this extremely high levy down our throats. My personal opinion is there needs to be a law against this continued voter harassment with these levies. If an issue fails they should have to at least wait a year to put back on a ballot.
