This is why we need more police officers and a raise for the officers. Council needs to wake up and smell the coffee...and if you think the sheriff's dept will respond, you will probably wait for an hour or longer. These officers put their lives on the line and probably are carrying less than adequate fire power. If you can hire other people and pay a village administrator, you can give the police a raise. It would probably be an incredible morale booster to the department.
