I would be more likely to be happy with a sales tax. At least then every one pays instead of just taxing people who own property or a previous attempt to tax only those with a job. Deadbeats who don't even try to work who have children in the school system would have to pay as well.

Enrollment numbers aside, the state system of funding is broken. I suppose all of you will rue the day when a sales tax is imposed to cover school costs, huh?

You are all crazy if you expect the levy efforts to stop. THEY HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE UNDER A SYSTEM THAT HAS BEEN DECLARED UNCONSTITUTIONAL. I suppose they could hope for a better educated electorate that applies pressure in the right places but that's a pipe dream.

How much longer do the tax payers have to be harassed? What part of the word NO don't you understand? As the above commenter said...your arrogance is a large part of the reason people have had enough. We all have bills and mortgages and car payments and the dollar just doesn't stretch that far anymore. And for those who will say give up eating out and entertainment, well, if you want to give them up, then do so. Your last sneak attack was nauseating enough. How much did the special election cost?????????

"A lot of people don't comprehend" we said NO!!! 8.25 is ridiculous to begin with. The last sneak attack was your best shot to jam it thru and it failed. QUIT HARASSING THE VOTERS.

"A lot of people don't comprehend we need the money to pay off existing loans, buy buses, to buy technology and restore needed programs..."

Duh! You have to pay bills? Well, I never realized that.

The arrogance displayed by these people is a large part of the reason for the continued levy failure.

No more levies on the ballot! Case closed. If after 5 attempts, you haven't learned the meaning of NO, perhaps YOU need to go back to school.

There ARE other options. One of them might save almost $100,000 per year. :)
