The prosecution never proved their case. The loss of a young life was a tragedy no matter how it occurred, but to take away another man's life on conjecture and publicity would have also been a tragedy. The police found no wrong doing until outside influences forced an arrest including Obama. As usual the case was tried in the media and on the streets ,but the jurors had the courage to do the right thing.

The case should NEVER have gone to court. It was simply done for racial purposes. If the dead man would have been white, or the man defending himself from the assault had been black, the incident would have ended as it did originally, after the police investigation. What a waste of taxpayer money.

The bottom line that it seems the news media doesn't get or isn't willing to admit, is GZ had the right to defend himself. If it had been the other way around and GZ was on top of TM and was beating his head into the concrete, then TM would have the right to defend himself. No matter how the situation developed, TM was the aggressor and deserved what he got.
