Hey, Jefferson County could use some of that litter patrol money. My property suffered a LOT of damage from a flood on June 28th that was caused by tires and other trash that was illegally dumped on Township Road 117. A Warren Township Trustee actually told me that he just had a meeting with the JB team about removing the trash. So far, nothing has been done. Smithfield Township has basically washed their hands of the problem. Neither Township seems to be the least bit concerned with the safety of my family. This water came down the road without warning carrying tires, boulders and balls of mud as big as bowling balls. I would like to see the trash cleaned up and some government entity find a way to protect my family and property from any future harm. I sure as*****won't hold my breath though! Want to see some of the damage? I posted pics on Channel 9 under the IReports link at the bottom of their home page and I have a video here *******youtu.be/yeP6ROJMnBE

I wonder if this truck will ever see a dirt road? Will this litter patrol only be for St. Clairsville? Those of us living outside the city have been battling the litter problem for more than 30 years, but even when we turn in the garbage with addresses on envelopes nothing can be done. When we call in a robbery the sheriff's officer says they don't have time to respond. I can't imagine anything being done about litter and I am looking forward to being proven wrong! Not hopeful though.
