Very well-stated!! Thank you for your selfless service and don't lose faith in the country you fought to defend. We will get back to the greatness we once were; it may be slow-going for awhile, but we'll get back there.

How embarrassing for TL to print yet another astoundingly stupid letter from the Hannity wing of the Republican party. Limbaugh and the filth at Fox "News" are laughing all the way to the bank.

You absolutely nailed my feelings and observations about that piece of trash in the White House. Unfortunately, there are many, many more unqualified people filling space in our government, Pelosi, Reid, Wrangle and hundreds more. Unfortunately, they are the ones that we can keep a close eye on. There are just as many highly qualified America haters in other critical positions, haters like Napolitano and that skank from the IRS Lerner, Holder and some that are actually a threat to our security like McCain and Graham. We need to get some strong leadership in the government pretty soon because this country is quickly becoming that cess pool you likened Chicago to. Thank you for your service.

Shall we promote the benefits, and successes of Mr. Obama rather than trash the opposition. Oh He has none I guess.

House Republicans today reiterated their commitment to killing as many Americans as possible before the end of Obama’s second term. ”We don’t care if you starve or die slowly and painfully from a chronic-but-treatable disease,” said House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. “As long as you die, it makes no difference.”

After Thursday’s vote to cut $40 billion from the Food Stamps program, failed VP candidate Paul Ryan was positively gleeful. “Seniors, the disabled and families struggling to feed their kids will all suffer as the result of this vote,” he said. “But as long as you tell your hungry kid the alternative was to end Big Oil subsidies, she’ll understand.”

Child health experts warned that failing to properly feed America’s children could affect brain development, lead to problems at school, and all kinds of expensive medical problems later. “That’ll teach poor people to have so many kids, won’t it?” said Ryan.

The House GOP followed up Friday by voting to shut down the government unless Obamacare is completely defunded. “Healthcare is not a human right,” said Speaker John Boehner. “I don’t care what Jesus or the Pope say about it. When was the last time Jesus sent me a check, for God’s sake?”

In Texas, Governor Rick Perry applauded the effort to defund Obamacare: “As a Christian, I’ve always believed the best way to treat poor people who get sick is miracles,” he said. “America is the richest country in the world. There’s just no excuse for being born poor.”

Ted Cruz continued to warn of the risks of Obamacare: “People will become addicted,” he said. “Study after study is showing that affordable healthcare will transform the lives of millions of Americans, including preventive services, vision and dental care for kids, and guaranteed coverage for pre-existing conditions...

This isn’t Canada. We should never allow poor people to save so much money on healthcare that they can then afford to buy food too.”

New Hampshire Senator Kelly Ayotte also pointed out that if starvation or illness don’t kill you first, gun violence is still an option. “That’s why I voted against expanded background checks after the Sandy Hook massacre,” she said. “After all, guns don’t kill people. Republicans kill people.”

Thank you Mr. Michael for expressing what many of us feel about the current president and administration. I am sorry I couldnot capitalize potus, but it is not deserved by the phony residing in the whitehouse. The good news is it will all be sorted out in the end by a higher authority. The bad news is we have to weight another 3+ years. By the way, no liberals or Obama lovers need respond, I do not argue with incompetency.

Thank you Mr. Michael for expressing what many of us American citizens feel at this time. I, too have separated th man from the office. It is a sad day for this country when such an incompetent and phony can occupy the greatest office ever created. The goo news is it will all be sorted out in the end by a higher authority. The bad news is we have 3 more years of this radical and his cronies. No need to respond to this post, I do not argue with liberals.

Thank you, thank you Mr. Oboma for proving the article true. although you will negotiate with Putin from Russia and known terrorists from Iran and Syria, you won't even show any leadership by sitting down and discussing or even debating with the U.S. Congress. In fact you said so publically. Instead, while th House and Senate were battling over the next CR and ObumaCare, you were out golfing as usual. Instead of being the leader you were elceted to be and bring people together, you have become the "Great Divider" standing on the sidlines watching an/or improving your golf handicap , weather permitting.

Who's the bureaucratic nincompoop who gave the order to barricade open air memorials like the WWII and Lincoln?? Veterans were en route when the order was given. Is nothing sacred to this administration that it will stoop to the lowest common denominator in order to score cheap political points? Disgusting, childish and revolting acts from our US government. Someone needs to let the adults take charge!

Promo- I think you and I are talking about the same person. I find it pretty pathetic as well that we would stoop so low as to put barricades around open-air memorials. I also found it ironic that Obama sent more people to guard the WWII memorial than he sent to Bengazi when they asked for more security!!

Agreed Gratzi. How any person with a rational mind can defend the president's divide and conquer mentality is beyond me.
