The Panda restaurant chain offers excellent meals at reasonable prices. Two, three and four entrée meals. Wish I had an investment in them. A Panda is near where I live and is excellent. That's probably the main reason the current restaurant owner is upset. I don't blame him since Panda will probably pull a great deal of his business.

I hope they get their 25% reduction in rent since they'll probably lose that much business and it seems only fair if they put it in a written agreement. The courts will probably ultimately have to decide.

I was looking forward to Panda coming into the area; there really aren't any good Chinese places in the area. I went to Osaka once and haven't been back since; the food and service was horrible and we were the only people there. I can understand where the owners of Osaka are coming from, but if you had a decent product it wouldn't be something you'd spend a lot of time worrying about... if people like it, they'll come, if not, they won't regardless of what else is in the area. And I could be wrong, but I never see very many people at Osaka.
