Basic English lesson is required. It should be "crazies WHO post here", not "crazies THAT post here".

I often post things twice because I never argue with liberals. Plus, most liberals can't read because they are always trying to convert it to liberalism.

You are correct Mr. Smathers, the liberal will always reply with hate speech, name calling and divisive comments because they have no facts or reality to prove anything they believe or say. It is the Olinsky way. Never let a crisis get away without using it in your favor. But, they also comeback with poll numbers to try and support their stupidity and anti-constitution hate speech and we all know how poll numbers are achieved. Patrick Henry would have been labeled the same way as the the tea party today when he said, "Give me Liberty or give me death..." However, one of the liberal posters did make one true comment: .....many Americans have awakened too... Yes, many are waking-up and beginning to see the true "Anti-U.S. "obama agenda and how it is destroying the country. It was good how things went down because now the misinformed and uniformed people of this country that elected this idiot twice are now beginning to see through obama's talking heads in the

BCF and Oluh are always thinking up clever one liners while they wait in line for their cheese and peanut butter!!!....hard to say which is the biggest hypocrite between the two of them. On welfare check day, they probably think up new "hate the rich" statements as they wait in line to buy lotto tickets!!LOL!!!

Turley, what you and promo61 can't get through your thick skulls is: There are not nearly enough people who would vote for either cruz or paul for either to win a national election.

Maybe by 2016, Barry and Moochie can get jobs serving TEA to President Rand Paul or President Ted Cruz. Would be good to see either of them do an honest days work!!LOL!!

Might not take that long BCF--latest poll shows 21% approval. Cruz knows he's in trouble, he had to bring in the 1/2 governor.

When you have no defense, keep running offense. That's not a bad idea actually. Can never be enough petitions to the Almighty. Perhaps it's the best chance there is to widen your scope one scintilla.

2. Suddenly the Republicans are acting like the school-yard bully who terrorized the playground but finally got punched in the face. They’re in shock. They’re humiliated. They’re trying to come up with ways of saving face. With bloodied noses, House Republicans are running home, abruptly turning negotiations over to their Senate colleagues. Their demand to repeal or delay the Affordable Care Act has vanished. Now, it seems, negotiations over the federal budget deficit are about to begin once again. But keeping the government running and paying the nation’s bills should never have been bargaining chips in the first place, and the President and Democrats shouldn’t begin to negotiate until they’re taken off the table. The question is how thoroughly President Obama has learned that extortionist demands escalate if you give in to them. - Robert Reich

1. Now is the time to lance the boil of Republican extremism once and for all. Since Obama became president, the extremists who have taken over the Republican Party have escalated their demands every time he’s caved (when he extended the Bush tax cuts through the end of 2012, offered spending cuts and then a Super Committee and sequester to get the debt ceiling lifted in 2011, permanently extended the Bush tax cuts for incomes up to $400,000 to avoid the fiscal cliff of 2012, offered a “chained CPI” and Medicare cuts in 2013). This time, though, Obama didn’t cave — at least, not yet. And now, with the government shuttered and the nation on the verge of defaulting on its debts, public opinion has turned sharply against the Republican Party. And the GOP’s corporate and Wall Street backers are threatening to defund it.

Fortunately we conservatives aren't seeking your approval. Meanwhile, we haven't seen a budget from the liberal-led Senate in 4 or 5 years. Does that matter? The House has passed bills to cover every aspect of government spending, yet the Senate holds Americans hostage with contrived events to gain as much public attention as possible. Grand canyon park rangers are denying US citizens access to private businesses in the park. Veterans form WWII cannot visit open air memorials in DC. The sheer lunacy and churlishness displayed by this administration is astonishing. When will liberal-lovers learn they are pawns in a never-ending quest for a permanent dependent class contrived by their leaders in order to establish unilateral power?

Mr. Mathers,

My profound apologies for leading you to believe that I was reinforcing your argument. At the end of the day, the American people will ultimately lose. Our politicians only think in 2 to 6 year increments of time for the next election. We allow it because we want everything now instead of passing legislation that actually leads to long term solutions. Sen Cruz exploits this to his advantage. Too many people buy into it, hence the problem. Words have meaning and ramifications. I haven't heard one idea from the Tea Party that leads to viable solutions for our country. Apparently, they all believe that everything is fixed through prayer, guns, and trickle down economic theory and no gov't oversight. Everybody wants to blame the government when it really is the politicians. From my view, survival of the fittest is the Tea Party calling card. My family will survive...... Will yours?

The Tea Party Movement stars: ie Cruz, Lee, Rubio, Cantor, Paul et al are political hacks. They feed off the ignorance of their ever shrinking base. Each hoping to bump the other off in their rush to the Prize, the GOP nomination.

The vast majority of the Country is wise to people like Mr. Smathers, who distort History to support their Heroes. With an approval rating of only 24% the Tea Bag people will always be what they are now. A Pain in the ass.

oluhjnb, the collapse of the Roman Empire began long before Constantine. His legalization of Christianity had as much to do with politics as anything else. Contatntine was in a war to consuladate the Empire and his legalization of Christianity was a part of that battle. Prior to his reign Rome had seen 25 Empirers in about 25 years, all but one of whom died violently. Notabally, after his death the Empire again was faced with rebellion. While the Empire 's failure is often dated latter, the decline began in the late CE 200time frame, a time of wide spread Persecution of Christians.
