Dear Editor, Recently I received a letter, unsigned and sans a return address, highly critical of me because of my letter to the editor where the writer claimed I unjustifiably dissed the current......

The Bush family produced a WWII hero, two American Presidents and a Governor.....your family produced YOU....go look in the mirror and have yourself a laugh!

We hear that there's a civil war in the Republican Party between its Tea Party and establishment factions. But the reality is there is no longer a Republican Party, and the real war is between the oligarchs (the Koch brothers and a handful of other right-wing billionaires) and the plutocrats (corporate and Wall Street executives). The oligarchs are now finding and funding extremist candidates in 2014 Republican primaries to oppose Republican incumbents who voted in favor of reopening the government and raising the debt ceiling. The plutocrats are bankrolling those incumbents, as well as a few of their own candidates in Republican primaries to oppose incumbent extremists. So who will be the real winners in 2014 -- the oligarchs or the plutocrats? And what will this mean for America? - Robert Reich

This letter should be published nationwide as it succinctly sums up the differences between those who actually did something to better this country and those who simply speak as if their words were deeds. Liberals have never met a situation that could not be changed just for the sake of changing it because they believe they know a better way, if only everyone would get on board. They may not actually have any experience themselves, but they certainly don't let that get in their way. Their way of governing is simply "Do as I say, not as I do", as if the USA were one big habitrail and the parts are theirs to adjust at their whim. Know this; the progressive mindset and method of governing is only about one thing: retaining power.

Sweet gum: your comment regarding the KKK only shows your ignorance is only exceeded by your stupidity. I would crawl to the polls on my hands and knees to vote for black men like Walter Williams or Dr. Ben Carson.

President Obama would never use your kind of language, Turley. Who's the mongrel?

The reason you never heard George Bush make the statement that BCF quotes him as saying is simple enough---its because he never said it. BCF is insignificant.

obama is no real leader and no real president. And Sweetgum---he is no real black man either....he is a common mongrel, as can be had cheaply at any pound.

You probably never hear George W. Bush saying "Some people call you the elites. I call you my base."

You forgot to hear the voice of the KKK saying "How could you elect a black man to POTUS?"
