While I applaud any schools efforts to keep our children safe (as I now have a young child in school and school safety hits home even more so now), my question is what is a bucket filled with a hammer and duct tape going to do to keep a school safe when kids are walking into school with loaded handguns? Unfortunately, it almost feels like all schools at some point will need to make a move to install metal detectors to hopefully stop these horrible acts before a child can get into a school with a loaded gun.
