So why do you try and tell people to take down political signs for your opponents?? You and your little regime's time is up. You all are on your way out.

Your lies and your family are clear in your intentions. Despair at people that have to twist the truth and out right lie will lose in the end. Your time is up. The future of Bridgeport will be way better when you step aside.

Why would the mayor step aside? Isn't he a successful business man who is capable of running a small town? The drama with this election is getting old while our town is top news with the violence and drugs!! Why don't we hear how to deal with this as a community? How are those elected going to "give the people the power"? I thought we already had it? We could be a great community as we have always been!! Cooperation, dedication, and respect could be a start!

Mayor, I can agree with most parts of your letter. However I do find exception to this- "I am not the blame for Smith, Lenz, Husarik, and Lyle's lack of progress in the last four years. They have controlled the council votes." Since I moved to the back to the area this year, my limited research has found Lyle was elected in 2011. The other three were elected in 2009. While I can not confirm with my limited research if Lyle was on council in 2010 and 2011, the other three were on council during those years. If research shows she was not on council during those two years, how can you assert the lack of progress from those four in the last four years? Research would only show the lack of progress for the last two years.

How sweet the mayor is attempting to "share his heart". That's funny because I've yet to meet him or one of his family members or friends who have a heart. I think a power hungry mind is more like it. The more amusing factor of this letter is that he didnt even take the time to write it. His daughter, Shirleann Murad, and granddaughter, Miki Clegg (who conveniently is running for council) control the Mayor as if he were a puppet. They write their beliefs and sign his name. The women use employees within their family owned business to type their thoughts and send to local newspapers. The family has burnt bridges with every relationship they have ever come across. The family runs on power and drama, when they've sucked a person dry they move on to the next. If someone disagrees with them they simply slap a "law suit" in people's faces. Ironically enough, look how many have been slapped in their own, (for their lack of ability to follow the law). Good news is, karma c
