Mr. Murray has a company that sells buggy whips (coal) and the new fangled energy source (gas) is a threat to his prosperity. What Mr. Murray needs to understand is, if natural gas is cheaper to produce and electricity generated by natural gas is cleaner and cheaper than coal and natural gas is more abundant than coal, then guess what, coal is done. Those are a lot of "ifs". I don't think coal will be gone in Mr. Murray's lifetime, but the end is coming.
