Totally agree with the last two paragraphs of the article. Where is the concern for the victim? Part of offender treatment is focus on how the offense(s) impact the victim(s) and putting victim thoughts and feelings before own. That statement does not reflect anything he should have learned through an effective sexual offender treatment program. And if he wasn't placed in detention until March and ordered to spend a year, why is he out already??
