Shop on line with your I Pad and watch the games at the same time. Forget the mall.......

Also, any reference to wrestling legend Ric Flair should include his proper surname --- "Nature Boy." Woooo.

Very informative article. Personally, I'm opposed to expanding the number of playoff teams. 14 teams is nearly half the NFL. It's too many. You shouldn't dilute the product. It'll end up being like the NBA and NHL.

The bigger issue is seeding. And while I'm not overly concerned about the monetary status of our dear NFL owners, there is a bit of a paradox. Teams that clinch a bye week (by performing well in the regular season) lose out on the potential revenue of a home wildcard game. It's unlikely, but it is conceivable that a #3 and #4 seed could host 2 playoff games (wildcard and championship), while a #1 or #2 seed could get bounced with only 1 home game and a "1 and done" scenario.

I actually like it this way. #1 and #2 seeded teams get rewarded with a bye week of rest and recuperation, but the owners get stiffed on the potential revenue from an additional playoff game. Kind of ironic. Wouldn't it be crazy if the Colts hosted the AFC Championship game?
