BCF, it's sad that you really have something against people who were actually responsible with their money and have earned and accumulated their wealth. People like you would rather stand in some line with your hand out, waiting for the next pile of ish your fearless leader is handing out. Seriously, are you jealous or something?? As for this ACA being "the answer", how about we recognize that it's been a huge disaster full of lies, deceit, false promises and will be the biggest cause of unemployment to date. Companies have already begun laying workers off, cutting hours, cutting staff...but hey, the unemployment numbers are dropping so that's something right?? They're dropping because people are just giving up on even trying anymore because of the defeat they face in the wake of the Obama mistake. It's a shame that you would rather teach our kids that it's okay to take what someone else has earned. Did no one share their blocks with you when you were a kid, BCF? GE

Mr. Hord: "All this in spite of an unprecedented all-out attempt by Republicans/conservatives to confuse and misinform the public regarding health care reform for strictly political motives in an effect to ultimately negatively impact, the potential success of this worthwhile initiative." I think you give conservatives too much credit. Who botched the rollout of the website? Who didn't foresee the cancellation of more policies than the ACA was intended to cover? And then when they realized the error, tried to correct it by demanding the health insurers just give back the policies after months of preparation for the new law? Who said if you like your plan you can keep it? Who hasn't prepared the back end of the system so that the gap in communication between sign up and actual coverage is closed? The failure or "potential failure" will lie squarely on the shoulders of those who crafted it, passed it, and foisted it on the public.

BCF, Let us get specific. How do you stand on the Keystone Pipeline? Trade bill? EPA standards? Many Democrats are on separate sides of these issues and stand on the side with Republicans. See There are no absolute Repub and Dem positions. Let 's debate issues and stay away from just bashing. I believe our discussions would be heated but much more insightful and productive..?

Mr Hord

I sure hope you do not own or have access to any guns. After reading your LTTE I concluded that you must be hearing voices or are on something and may become a danger to society.

Eliminate all your left wing bull s**t. and remember three things.

1 You can keep your current Plan 2 You can keep your current Doctor 3 You will save $2800 per year

Well I was able to keep my plan and my Doctor but my premium increased by $5160 per year and that does not include any copays if I or my wife get sick.

How can one political party be so wrong, so far off base, so out of touch??????

Possibly, it is an issue with the eye of the writer. when one is that negative, they lose complete credibility. Nothing is that absolute......

fellow your facts are factless and most of you liberal low information people just keep on putting misinformation out to those that really don't know the real facts. ie: you state medicare part D is for the donut, part D is the prescription coverage and my donut this year went from $2900.00 in 2013 to to $2,800.00 this year, i rounded the figures but i hit this donut in sept.our co-pay on our drugs have increase wife takes spiriva and last year we paid a 70.00 co-pay,this year it is 90.00,the donut for your inf.includes what we pay and what the health plan pays which is $700.00 so every three months when you add this up she hits the donut level with just this one drug. KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT BEFORE YOU MOUTHOFF LIKE YOU DO AT ALL THE MEETING YOU ATTEND. BY THE WAY DO YOU WORK OR ARE YOU ON THE TAXPAYOR PAID BENEFITS.I BET YOU ARE.

Hord.....just stick to belaboring small town city council meetings. That way, only a small group trapped in a room will have to snore their way through your stupid liberal obama worship speeches.

Today's GOP has no interest in helping people or representing anyone other than millionaires and billionaires. Nothing will change in this country until they are voted out of office. We can start by electing Democrats to take back the House in 2014.

Paul Ryan submitted a helthcare plan in may of 2009 called the Patients choice act. Not as long or tweisting as the ACA Richard,The Repub's did offer a plan, You can read it in 5 minutes.******* Why did 67 dem's break ranks on the ACA if it's so great? Once you see whats in it it becomes the UNAFFORDABLE CARE ACT. By the way I am a registered Dem with an open mind. Try opening yours. OH yea, Pinnochio of the year? We haven't evened mentioned Bengazi. Joe Wilson had it right along time ago. "YOU LIE"

Mr. Hord,

I am certain you mean well and God Bless you but you are so far off base that a reply is really not warranted. If you only could apply reason, clear thinking, and logic and leave behind pretty politics and unrealistic thinking... the Very best..
