Yea, Why were the electric rates so high?

Yeah, I'd like to hear a politician answer this question. Why are they never asked?

"This is not about politics - we are just asking for help," (Tom Byers LU5724 president)

The TV report on this shows union members holding Fitzgerald campaign signs in the background, but it's not about politics! LOL

What a joke this guy is! Trying to capitalize on Ormet's demise...maybe the State should subsidize Ormet in his socialist mind. Ormet failed..they're selling off assets..get over it and move on.

What would he say if not for Ormet? Why is no one asking why the electric rates went so high?

Yes you are correct. He picked up a whole lotta votes, by promising to FORCE a business to sell their goods/services at a loss. How would you feel if he forced you to sell your car for 1/2 of what it is worth to someone who "needs" it. I'm sure you would not be very happy. The stuff he is selling to the voters sounds good until you think about it. Remember, he can be very generous with other people's money.

This guy is a buffoon! As governor he would force another business to give rate relief to another business thereby making himself the ultimate authority in the state. So what happens to the business that is forced to sell its service/product below cost?

You don't get something for nothing except in Liberal Land. It's easy to be generous with other people's money.
