"The legislation calls for a 10-year mandatory conviction if the person displays or brandishes a firearm, indicates he/she has it in their possession or uses it to facilitate the felony"

In other words if you stick your FINGER in your coat pocket and "imply" that you have a gun, you get 10 years!!!

Outrageous stupidity and simply "brandishing" should NEVER carry that kind of time it is a MISDEMEANOR crime!
